Bilkent Hotel and Conference Center, founded in 1991, is the first congress and conference hotel in Ankara. The Hotel, as an establishment of Bilkent Holding, has always been targeted to improve and change existing conditions if necessary. The landscape renewal project of The Pool and its surroundings aims at continuing Bilkent Holding’s vision, at creating a natural environment for services such as weddings, ceremonies, meetings whereas supporting use of a Conference Hotel. Forming microclimatic spots, integration of materials used, and planting design have been primary concerns.
